Raising coturnix quail for meat or eggs or just for fun is a productive hobby for anyone. Hatching the eggs takes roughly 21 days. The first 3 weeks are very tedious and delicate for the chicks until they are fully feathered ,they will consume their weight in food every day plus a lot of water. They go from the egg to laying eggs in approximately 6 to 10 weeks. Fully matured in 10 weeks ready for harvest. Really a simple bird to raise with a lot of rewards.
